The image is infused into the surface of the metal itself, not printed on top of it. Starlight reads as actual luminance rather than ink, which is why astrophotography belongs on metal.

Paper scatters light, which lifts black tones and flattens a night sky. Aluminium holds the black, so the stars keep their separation.

Each size is its own edition with a fixed run — Sagittarius Edition is capped at 100 prints, Star Edition at 1000. When a run sells out it is retired and never reprinted at that size.

Your edition number is assigned when your print is made, and it is written on the certificate that ships with it. We do not display a countdown, because a manufactured sense of scarcity is not the same thing as a real edition.

No. The float mount is fitted to the back before it ships, so the print stands about 15mm off the wall and appears to hover. One screw, no frame, no glass.

Every product page has a wall preview that shows the print to scale beside a standard 7ft sofa — that is usually the fastest way to decide. As a rule, the Galaxy Edition at 18"×12" is the smallest size that reads as a wall piece from across a room.

Sizes run from 6"×4" at $100 up to 24"×16" at $300.

Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth. No cleaners, no glass spray.

It is waterproof and scratch-resistant, so a kitchen or bathroom is fine — which is not true of a paper print behind glass.

Yes. Every frame was shot on location by one photographer, and each product page lists the actual camera, lens, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO from the file, along with the moon phase on the night it was taken.
